What are Young Leaders?
Young Leaders are 14-18 year olds who work in partnership with the adult leadership team of the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections to deliver the programme. They are provided with regular training and support from the district including Modules and Missions to become a very capable Young Leader. The combination of section volunteering and training can count towards sections of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Missions
There are 4 missions to complete to become a fully trained Young Leader. They allow you to put your training from the modules into practice developing your skill set and are recorded to help you sign off sections for awards such as Duke of Edinburgh where you need to show progression.
A record book will be issued upon completion of Module A to record their module attendance and missions.
