The District wants to SHOUT about all the amazing volunteers and young people in Cardiff East so we’re introducing “Cardiff East Scouting Champions”.
Every month you can nominate one colleague and one young person for an award. There’ll be a small prize for the winners and some recognition on social media – if you can stand the embarrassment!
Please support this scheme. We want to acknowledge the adults and young people who are “doing their best” and living out our scouting values. Maybe:
A leader who’s run some cool outdoor sessions or gone the extra mile to run amazing Zoom sessions.
A supportive Chair or pro-active Exec member
A Young Leader who is rising to the challenge of leadership despite the current challenges
A young person who has overcome challenges to attend online sessions, or helped in the community during lockdown
Perhaps you just know scouts, young or old, who have been really kind or selfless or just done something whacky to make you smile
Nominate anyone who you think deserves a shout-out. You choose what is worthwhile and what should be recognised. We want to hear your happy stories during this challenging time. Click the link below to make someone’s day 🙂
